*-Questlove: "Another underrated 1988 track that demonstrates the influence of Public Enemy from 1987: the shrill noises, sirens of various types.  The Skinny Boys modeled themselves after the Fat Boys, especially in early beatbox songs like "Get Funky" and "Jock Box" (which was later used as the theme song of the Comedy Central series Workaholics).
